Hi. I was first introduced to English Action Pictures in a plagerized copy, in 1980 in South Korea (although the current edition says original copyright 1985). My students and I loved it. After the copy was stolen from our school library and I returned to the US, I spent about 25 years looking for it again. Last year I finally found it and bought a (copyrighted) one. Again, my students love it. It fills a need like nothing else, and I haven’t found anyone, at any level, who couldn’t learn something from it, partly because of its open-endedness. Recently, I wrote an article about it for my state TESOL chapter which was published in a newsletter. I hope more teachers discover it; it’s a great professional investment.

I’m sorry. I first saw this item in 1990, not 1980!
